Hi, my name is Michelle and I provide woodland sessions for 0-11 year olds. I have Early Years Teacher Status, BA Hons degree in Early Childhood and Level 3 Forest School Leader. I also have a clear police check and relevant insurance.
I have worked with children 0-5 years old since 2000 in a variety of roles including, nursery practitioner, children’s centre playworker, and manager of the 2 year old provision at Bentley High St. Primary School.
I run regular sessions for families, childminders, nurseries and schools to access a woodland environment using fun and exciting activities.
Nature is good for us. When children access outdoor play on a regular basis it allows for healthier, happier children. Children become more confident, creative and greater problem-solvers when accessing the natural world.
Through the use of the outdoor environment and our natural surroundings, I provide fun family sessions based around themes such as stories, bug hunting or den building.
