Hi, my name is Michelle and I provide woodland sessions for 0-7 year olds. I have Early Years Teacher Status, BA Hons degree in Early Childhood and Level 3 Forest School Leader. I also have a clear police check and relevant insurance.
I have worked with children 0-5 years old since 2000 in a variety of roles including, nursery practitioner, children’s centre playworker, and manager of the 2 year old provision at Bentley High St. Primary School.
I run regular sessions for families, nurseries and schools to access a woodland environment using fun and exciting activities in five different locations.
Woodfield Park, Balby,
Bentley Community Woodlands (on hold due to coronavirus),
Squirrel Wood Scout Camp,
Hatfield Moors and
Thorne Community Woodlands.
Nature is good for us. When children access outdoor play on a regular basis it allows for healthier, happier children. Children become more confident, creative and greater problem-solvers when accessing the natural world.
Through the use of the outdoor environment and our natural surroundings, I provide fun family sessions based around themes such as stories, bug hunting or den building.
I also provide private parties or small ‘bubble’ sessions which can be based around any theme you like. Please contact me for more details.
Young pre-walking babies in a pushchair or sling are free of charge.
